Owner & Founder
Dr. Husam Eddin
Dr. Husam Eddin, a family medicine, geriatric, and hospice physician, founded Excellence Health to provide comprehensive healthcare services in the Volusia and Flagler counties. He graduated from Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in 1993 and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Methodist Hospital in Houston between 2002 and 2005.
Since then, Excellence Health has expanded to multiple locations, including multiple clinics in Daytona Beach, Ormond, Palm Coast, Port Orange, and New Smyrna Beach, offering services such as post-acute primary care and hospice care and home visits. Dr. Eddin serves as the medical director for multiple skilled nursing facilities and is the AdventHealth Post-Acute Strategy Medical Director and the Halifax Continuum of Care Medical Director.
